This code is not just a barcode or QR code attached to an art object - this code will be obtained during the scanning of a single artwork and will contain a unique digital print. Therefore, it is not possible to fake the object code itself.
But only the same blockchain will provide reliable storage of these codes. However, the blockchain, which is a global database that is cryptographically protected, is the ideal information store. Each block inside is encrypted and signed with a digital crypto signature, and copies of this information are not stored on several thousand computers. The reliability of this technology has been time tested - after all, bitcoin, the main crypto currency built on the blockchain, cannot be hacked even once in 10 years, even though the temptation is always great. This gives full confidence that information about the original source of artwork recorded on the Art Coin blockchain project will also be protected reliably.
In addition, for its purposes, the team will not use the blockchain itself, which considering the narrow focus of the project can be vulnerable to attack, but the blockchain Ethereum, which serves thousands of miners, who can be relied on to protect it from hacking.
